With a background in Light and Heavy Vehicles I moved to Queensland from Melbourne 6.5 years ago to join the 'at the time' growing Mining Industry. After a few years I needing a change and so I purchased Whitsunday Auto Repairs. The first thing we did is revamp the workshop, upgrade our equipment and re-establish the business as new and improved. We understood first hand how important it was, if we were going to keep our doors open and be a respected mechanical workshop in the area, to treat our customers and their vehicles with the highest respect, try to maintain lowest prices yet only use the highest quality parts and products. Our mechanics are highly motivated, specialised and knowledgeable in the mechanical field. We have the upmost trust in the work our staff do and the feedback we receive reflects this. Being the owner of Whitsunday Auto Repairs has been extremely challenging yet rewarding. Our team is amazing, our customers are amazing and I couldn't ask for a better place to be!
Over the two years we got to really understand and appreciate what our customers expected of us and what they wanted from their local mechanics. After doing our research and asking our customers to participate in surveys we realised that our customers wanted more, so we gave them more. We moved our workshop to 1/11 Shute Harbour Road Cannonvale (next to AutoPro and up the road from Big 4 Adventure Park) and re named our business Whitsunday Automotive. Our new workshop is large, bright and easily accessible but best of all and the main reasoning behind the move is, we now have a showroom. We now have a large area to show off to our customers what we can do! We’ve recently become an Ironman 4x4 Distributor so we have a range of Bull Bars, Winches, Roof Top Tents, Jacks, Fridges and more on display.
We have always used the highest quality oils and lubricants, Fuchs, and now we have room to display the whole Fuchs range.
Our Staff are customer focused and dedicated to providing the highest quality of work. We have staff who specialise in different fields of the mechanical industry allowing us to provide to our customers the skills and knowledge to complete any tasks required.
